Nato a Parma nel 1977 e formatosi presso il Conservatorio "A.Boito" di Parma, ha studiato:

VIOLINO con il Prof. Alessandro Simoncini (Nuovo Quartetto Italiano), diplomandosi nel 1998, a 20 anni, sotto la guida della Prof.ssa Grazia Serradimigni (Quintetto Materassi).
PIANOFORTE, conseguendo il Compimento Medio (8° Anno);
COMPOSIZIONE, conseguendo il Compimento Medio (7° Anno) , sempre al Conservatorio di Parma, nel 1999 sotto la guida del M° Emilio Ghezzi (ora Direttore del Conservatorio di Parma).

Nel 2001 si è diplomato in pianoforte (Diploma ABRSM in Piano Performing), “with distinction”, con l'Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, London .
Ha studiato Direzione d'orchestra frequentando: Corsi Annuali (Vimodrone-MI), dal 1994 al 1996, con il M° tedesco Julius Kalmar (allievo di Hans Swarowsky e insegnante all'Accademia di Vienna e Amburgo); Corsi Estivi dal 1994 con il M° Julius Kalmar (Follina-TREVISO), il M° Yuri Ahronovitch (Riva del Garda-TRENTO), il M° Bruno Aprea (Cava de'Tirreni-SALERNO) e il M° Isaac Karabtchevsky (Riva del Garda-TRENTO). Dal 2002 ha studiato con il M° Manlio Benzi al Conservatorio “G. Rossini” di Pesaro e nel settembre 2005 si è diplomato sotto la sua guida in DIREZIONE D'ORCHESTRA .
Ha studiato Storia della Musica con il Prof. Gustavo Marchesi ed Estetica della Musica con il Prof. Giordano Montecchi. Ha seguito anche Corsi di Perfezionamento Strumentale dal 1994 al 2001: in violino, con il Prof. Ivan Rabaglia (Trio di Parma) e il Prof. Franco Mezzena, in pianoforte, con Oxana Yablonskaya.

DIREZIONE D'ORCHESTRA

Dopo aver diretto durante corsi annuali ed estivi il Gruppo Strumentale Veneto “G.F.Malipiero ”, l' orchestra “H.Swarowsky” di Milano e l' Orchestra Philarmonia di Roma
ha fondato nel 1997 a Parma l' Orchestra Aperta d'Archi “GIOVANE EMILIA” debuttando con la stessa alla Corale “G.Verdi” di Parma in qualità di direttore il 14 giugno 1998 con il concerto “Nel Centro del Settecento” (Stagione estiva del comune di Parma "Parma Estate 1998" ) con opere di Bach , Händel, Telemann e Mozart .
Il 1° marzo 2003 ha diretto la Sinfonia da “Le nozze di Figaro” di Mozart e l'Ouverture da “Fidelio” di Beethoven (Orchestra Sinfonica per la Scuola di Direzione d'orchestra-Auditorium “Pedrotti di Pesaro).
Il 24 marzo 2004 sempre al “Pedrotti” ha diretto le Sinfonie da “Le Nozze di Figaro” di Mozart e da “L'italiana in Algeri” di Rossini (Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana-F.O.R.M. , Auditorium “Pedrotti” di Pesaro).
Inoltre dal 2004, in alcune prove con l' Orchestra F.O.R.M., ha diretto movimenti da: Sinfonia “Haffner” e Sinfonia “Linz” di Mozart, Sinfonia n.103 di Haydn , Sinfonia n.7 di Beethoven, Serenata per archi e Sinfonia n.1 di Tchaikovsky, parte di Verklärte Nacht di Schoenberg e l'intera Sinfonia n.1 di Shostakovich , nonché i recitativi ed arie del Conte, della Contessa e di Susanna da “Le Nozze di Figaro” di Mozart con cantanti allievi della Prof.ssa Dundekova al Conservatorio di Pesaro.
Con l' Orchestra F.O.R.M. ha anche diretto movimenti da Sinfonia n.4 di Mahler e “Vier letzte Lieder” di Strauss al Teatro “Pergolesi” di Jesi, durante le prove del M° Gustav Kuhn per una serie di concerti nell'aprile 2005.
Il 21 aprile 2005 ha diretto la suite dalle musiche di scena “Pelléas et Mélisande” di Sibelius (Orchestra F.O.R.M. , Auditorium “Pedrotti” di Pesaro).
Nel luglio 2005 ha diretto tre concerti in Germania, Regensburg e provincia, con l' Orchestra d'archi della Casa Bavarese di Odessa (Ucraina), la pianista Jekaterina Chishnjak e il chitarrista Milorad Romic, con musiche di Bach, Vivaldi, Haydn, Boccherini, Rossini e Mendelssohn .
Il 30 Agosto 2005, al termine del Laboratorio sull'Aida di Verdi tenuto dal M° Bruno Aprea a Cava de'Tirreni (Salerno), ha diretto il 1° Atto di Aida ad Amalfi (Basilica del Crocifisso), all'interno del Festival “Le Corti dell'Arte”, con l' Orchestra rumena del Teatro di Cluy e i cantanti vincitori del Concorso di Eboli “Vissi d'Arte”.
Dal 22 al 28 luglio 2007 ha diretto l'Ouverture “Leonore” n.3 di Beethoven , il Concerto per pianoforte n.2 di Chopin (primo e secondo movimento) e la Sinfonia n.2 di Tchaikovsky (primo movimento e parte del quarto movimento) in alcune prove con l' Orchestra Giovanile “L.Cherubini” (fondata dal M° Riccardo Muti).
Il 29 luglio 2007 ha diretto il secondo movimento del Concerto per pianoforte n.2 di Chopin con l' Orchestra Giovanile “L.Cherubini” e il pianista Francesco Moncher in un concerto pubblico nella Sala 1000 del Palazzo dei Congressi di Riva del Garda(TN).
Il 27 settembre 2010 ha partecipato all'11° Concorso Internazionale "A.Pedrotti" di Trento per direttori d'orchestra.
Ha diretto 11 recite di "Frankenstein", un nuovo lavoro operistico dei compositori Aurelio Scotto e Michele Della Valentina, al Teatro Comunale "A.Zeppilli" di Pieve di Cento (BO) il 15, 16, 20, 21 e 22 gennaio 2011, al Teatro Consorziale di Budrio (BO) il 2 febbraio 2011, e alla Sala Ilaria Alpi della Biblioteca Comunale di Crevalcore (BO) il 4 e 5 febbraio 2011.

PIANOFORTE E MUSICA DA CAMERA

Ha debuttato il 27 maggio 2000 alla “Corale G.Verdi” di Parma con il concerto “Orchestra in Pianoforte” eseguendo Sonate di Beethoven , Skryabin e Liszt .
Il 1° giugno 2001 ha tenuto un concerto-lezione, organizzato dal “Liceo Musicale E.Pinza”, alla “Sala Forum” di Ravenna eseguendo Bach, Beethoven e Schubert .
Dal 2002 al 2004 ha suonato insieme alla soprano Grazia Doronzio a Ferrara (Istituto di Cultura “Casa Cini”), Pesaro (Auditorium “Pedrotti”), e Ancona (Auditorium di Pietralacroce) eseguendo composizioni di Monteverdi, Bach, Mozart, Schubert, R.Strauss, Berg, Fauré, Ravel, Poulenc, Alfano e Petrassi .
Il 5 ottobre 2004 al moshav messianico “Yad Hashmona” ( 15 km da Gerusalemme) ha eseguito la versione pianistica dell'oratorio di Haydn “Le sette ultime parole del nostro Redentore sulla croce”. Il 10 ottobre 2004 alla sala “Yad Lebanim” del “Centro per le vittime del terrorismo” ad Afula(Israele) ha eseguito la suite pianistica del compositore delle “Antiche danze ed arie per liuto” di Respighi .
Il 2 dicembre 2006 ha eseguito al Museo della Porcellana di Gustavsberg (Stoccolma) un programma dedicato alla Scandinavia eseguendo Jacopo Foroni, Riccardo Zandonai, Sibelius e Grieg, con la partecipazione del soprano Anette Vogel. Il 4 dicembre 2006 ha eseguito musiche di Jacopo Foroni, sempre con Anette Vogel, alla Sala della Biblioteca del Castello Reale in centro a Stoccolma.
Il 31 gennaio 2007 ha eseguito alla Accademia Musicale di Ancona “Le sette ultime parole del nostro Redentore sulla croce” di Haydn con la proiezione delle foto dell'opera scultorea “La fontana delle lacrime” creata dall'artista israeliano-canadese Rick Wienecke.
Il 10 maggio 2007, all'Auditorium delle Scuderie Aldobrandini di Frascati (Roma), ha preso parte alla rappresentazione “Parla la notte di Budapest” curata dal regista Lauro Versari, interpretando musiche di Liszt , Brahms, Berlioz, Kodaly , Bartok e Ligeti , insieme alle letture di poesie ungheresi da parte dell'attrice Sonia de Meo e dell'attore Nino D'Agata.
Il 19 maggio 2007 ha tenuto un concerto a Palazzo Albicini (Forlì) eseguendo musica di Respighi, Debussy, Vaughan Williams, Grieg, Brahms, Chopin, Ligeti, Bartok .
Il 9 settembre 2007 ha tenuto un concerto come pianista solista all'Auditorium del Conservatorio di Riva del Garda (TN) intitolato “Shemà Israel” (Ascolta Israele), eseguendo tre sonate bibliche di Johann Kuhnau così come estratti dall'Oratorio “Elias” di Mendelssohn eseguiti in trascrizione concertistica per solo pianoforte.
Il 14 marzo 2008 ha tenuto un concerto pianistico per il tempo della Passione alla Sala del Rotkreuz-Heim di Regensburg (Germania), eseguendo Bach, il “Christus” di Mendelssohn, e Haydn assieme alla lettura dai quattro Vangeli da parte del drammaturgo Michael Herrschel.
L' 11 maggio 2008 ha tenuto un Concerto pianistico per i 60 anni di Israele alla Sinagoga di Bologna con un programma costituito da compositori ebrei e non-ebrei quali Ravel, Bloch, Bernstein, Milhaud, Prokofiev, Mendelssohn, Castelnuovo-Tedesco che hanno scritto tra ‘800 e ‘900 brani ispirati all'Ebraismo.
Ha poi ripetuto questo programma, aggiungendo una suite di danze israeliane di Haim Alexander, alla Chiesa del Ravaldino di Forlì il 18 maggio 2008, alla Accademia Musicale di Ancona il 22 giugno 2008 e all'Auditorium del Conservatorio di Riva del Garda il 13 settembre 2008.
Con una selezione del programma si è esibito in Israele alla Sala del Baptist Village vicino Petah Tikva il 25 luglio 2008 e alla Sala del Kibbutz Merchavia il 26 luglio 2008.
Il 15 ottobre 2008 si è esibito alla "Christ Church" di Gerusalemme (nella Città Vecchia) presentando l'intero programma, assieme all'esposizione di sculture bibliche dell'artista israeliano-canadese Rick Wienecke.
Il 25 gennaio 2009 ha tenuto un Concerto pianistico per il 'Giorno della memoria' alla Sinagoga di Bologna con sonate per pianoforte dei compositori ebrei morti nei campi di concentramento quali Schulhoff, Klein e Ullmann, la sonata commemorativa per pianoforte '27 April 1945' del compositore tedesco K.A.Hartmann e il tema di 'Schindler's List' di J.Williams.
Il 27 febbraio 2009 ha tenuto uno speciale concerto serale a Milano, presentando canti tradizionali ebraici e canti israeliani messianici al pub 'Le Pecore'.
Il 9 dicembre 2009 ha tenuto un Concerto pianistico intitolato "100 years of Tel Aviv" a Londra allo Spiro Ark Centre, eseguendo musica scritta da compositori ebrei ed israeliani quali Mendelssohn, Milhaud, Bloch, Bernstein, Paul Ben-Haim, Haim Alexander, Joseph Tal e Viktor Ullmann così come due bis, il canto "haIr haLevanah" (la Città Bianca) di Naomi Shemer e il tema principale del film 'Exodus' di Ernest Gold.
Il 27 gennaio 2010 ha tenuto un Concerto pianistico per il ‘Giorno della memoria' all'Auditorium del Conservatorio di Riva del Garda (TN), eseguendo opere di Ravel, Klein, Ullmann, Hartmann, J.Williams e musiche ebraiche scritte da Shostakovich.
Il 5 settembre 2010 ha tenuto un Concerto pianistico per la "Giornata Europea della Cultura Ebraica" all'Auditorium del Conservatorio di Riva del Garda (TN), eseguendo musiche di Mendelssohn, Chopin, Bernstein, Paul Ben-Haim, Jerry Bock ed Ernest Gold, con letture tratte dal libro-testimonianza "Il pianista" scritto nel 1946 dal pianista e compositore ebreo-polacco W.Szpilman.
Il 20 febbraio 2011 ha tenuto un Concerto pianistico di "Yom haShoah" alla Sinagoga Ebraica di Regensburg (Germania), nel 70° anno (1941-2011) dal massacro dei 33.771 ebrei fucilati a Babi Yar (Ucraina) nel 1941, presentando musiche di Shostakovich assieme a letture dalle Memorie di Shostakovich (posth. 1979), 4 Poesie Yiddish e la poesia "Babi Yar" scritta dal celebre scrittore russo E.Evtushenko nel 1961, così come un bis, il Kaddish di Ravel.

COMPOSIZIONE

Ha debuttato al Teatro Regio di Parma nel 2000 con la sua Cadenza per il 1° movimento del Concerto K. 503 di W. A. Mozart eseguito dal pianista Luca Tanzi e dall'Orchestra del Conservatorio “A.Boito”.
Il 15 novembre 2001 ha debuttato a Taipei (capitale dell'isola di Taiwan) come compositore-collaboratore per le musiche occidentali con “The TTT Puppet Centre” ( www.taiyuan.org.tw ) di Taipei con sue musiche per lo spettacolo di marionette “Marco Polo” rappresentato a Taipei nel 2001.
Nel maggio 2002 ha ultimato la trascrizione pianistica a 4 mani di 3 estratti da “West Side Story” di L.Bernstein che gli sono stati commissionati dal Duo Palmas di Cremona.
Nel giugno 2002 ha composto 2 pezzi per Trio con pianoforte, che sono stati eseguiti il 29 settembre 2002 a Taipei, commissionati da “The TTT Puppet Centre” di Taipei per lo spettacolo d'attori e marionette “Autumn Rain” rappresentato dal 18 al 21 dicembre 2003 all' Experimental Theatre di Taipei.
Dal 2003 “Marco Polo”, con la presenza delle sue musiche, è stato rappresentato a Barcellona, Madrid (Circulo de Bellas Artes), Tegucigalpa (Honduras, Instituto Hondureno de Cultura Hispanica), Londra (Purcell Room) e Parigi (Université Vincennes-Saint-Denis, Amphithéâtre X).

PREMI E RICONOSCIMENTI

Ha ricevuto nel 1998 il Premio Biennale della Musica “Cesare Alfieri” e nel 2002 un premio per la musica dal Centro Sociale “Ancora” di Ravenna nell'ambito della V edizione della manifestazione “Uno di noi”.
Nel 2003 ha vinto in duo con la Doronzio il 3° Premio nella sezione Musica Vocale da Camera alla Rassegna Nazionale di S.Pietro in Vincoli (Ravenna).
Nel febbraio 2006 è risultato finalista come direttore d'orchestra al Concorso “Festival Mozart Giovani” svoltosi presso il Teatro delle Erbe di Milano.

Dal 2001 pubblica le sue composizioni con la Casa Editrice Musicale “L'Oca del Cairo” di Parma ( www.ocadelcairo.it).

Nel 2012 ha fondato le "International Music Lessons".

Kalmar (Follina-TREVISO), M° Yuri Ahronovitch (Riva del Garda-TRENTO), M° Bruno Aprea (Cava de' Tirreni-SALERNO) and M° Isaac Karabtchevsky (Riva del Garda-TRENTO). From 2002 he has been studying Orchestra Conducting with M° Manlio Benzi at the Conservatoire “G.Rossini” in Pesaro where he graduated in September 2005.
He has studied History of Music with Prof. Gustavo Marchesi and Aesthetics of Music with Prof. Giordano Montecchi. He had also attended Advanced Courses between 1994 and 2001: in violin, with Prof. Ivan Rabaglia (Trio di Parma) and Prof. Franco Mezzena, in piano, with Prof. Oxana Yablonskaya.

ORCHESTRA CONDUCTING

After he had conducted, during some annual and summer Courses, the Venetian Musical Ensemble “G.F.Malipiero” , the Orchestra “H.Swarowsky” of Milan and the Philharmonia Orchestra of Rome :
in 1997 he founded the String Open Orchestra “Giovane Emilia” , in Parma making his début on 14th June 1998 with the cooperation of “Corale G.Verdi” of Parma as a Conductor for the Concert “In the middle of the 18th Century” (Summer season of Parma township “Parma's Summer 1998” ) with works by Bach, Händel, Telemann and Mozart .
On 1st March 2003 he conducted the Symphony Orchestra of the Conducting Course at the “Pedrotti” Auditorium in Pesaro, performing the Overtures from Mozart 's “The Marriage of Figaro” and from Beethoven 's “Fidelio”; on 24th March 2004 he conducted the “Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana”(F.O.R.M.) performing the Overtures from Mozart 's “The Marriage of Figaro” and from Rossini 's “L'italiana in Algeri” at the “Pedrotti” Auditorium.
Moreover, from 2004, he conducted excerpts from Mozart 's Haffner and Linz Symphonies, Haydn 's Symphony no.103, Beethoven 's 7th Symphony, Tchaikovsky 's String Serenade and Symphony no.1, Schoenberg 's “Verklärte Nacht” and the whole of Shostakovitch 's 1st Symphony and as well as excerpts from Mozart 's “The Marriage of Figaro” in cooperation with pupil singers of Prof. Evgenija Dundekova at the Conservatoire in Pesaro in some rehearsals with the Orchestra F.O.R.M .
He also conducted with the Orchestra F.O.R.M. movements from Mahler 's 4th Symphony and Strauss 's “Last four songs” at the Theatre “Pergolesi” in Jesi, during some rehearsals of M° Gustav Kuhn in April 2005.
On 21st April 2005 he conducted the Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana, in a concert in Pesaro (Auditorium Pedrotti) performing the Suite op.46 Pelléas et Mélisande by J. Sibelius .
On 2nd , 8th and 10th of July 2005 he conducted the String Ensemble of the Bavarian House of Odessa in and around Regensburg (Bavaria-GERMANY), performing Bach, Vivaldi, Haydn, Boccherini, Rossini and Mendelssohn.
On 30th August 2005, at the end of the Workshop about Verdi 's Aida organised by M° B. Aprea, he conducted Act One of Aida in Amalfi (Basilica del Crocifisso), during the Festival “Le Corti dell'Arte”, with the Orchestra of the Theatre in Cluy and the winners of the Lyric Competition in Eboli “Vissi d'Arte”.
From 22nd and 28th of July 2007 he conducted Beethoven 's Overture “Leonore” no.3, Chopin 's Piano Concerto no.2(first and second movements) and Tchaikovsky 's Second Symphony (first movement and part of the fourth movement) in some rehearsals with the Youth Orchestra “L.Cherubini” (founded by M° Riccardo Muti).
On 29th of July 2007 he conducted the second movement of Chopin 's Piano Concerto no.2 with the Youth Orchestra “L.Cherubini” and the pianist Francesco Moncher in a public concert at Sala 1000-Palazzo dei Congressi in Riva del Garda(TN).
On 27th September 2010 he took part in the 11th International Conducting Competition "A.Pedrotti" in Trento.
He conducted 11 performances of "Frankenstein", a new operatic work by composers Aurelio Scotto and Michele Della Valentina, at Teatro Comunale "A.Zeppilli" in Pieve di Cento (BO) on 15th, 16th, 20th, 21st and 22nd January 2011, at Teatro Consorziale in Budrio (BO) on 2nd February 2011, and at the Ilaria Alpi Hall of Biblioteca Comunale in Crevalcore (BO) on 4th and 5th February 2011.

PIANO AND CHAMBER MUSIC

He made his début 27th May 2000 at Parma's “Corale G.Verdi” for the Concert “Orchestra in Piano” playing Sonatas of Beethoven, Skryabin and Liszt .
He held a lesson-concert on 1st June 2001 at the “Forum Hall” in Ravenna with the organization of the “Liceo Musicale E.Pinza” performing Bach, Beethoven and Schubert .
From the year 2002 to the year 2004 he played together with the soprano Grazia Doronzio in Ferrara (Educational Center “Casa Cini”), Pesaro (Auditorium “Pedrotti”) and Ancona (Auditorium of Pietralacroce) performing works by composers such as Monteverdi, Bach, Mozart, Schubert, R.Strauss, Berg , Fauré, Ravel, Poulenc, Alfano and Petrassi .
On 5th of October 2004 at the Messianic Moshav “Yad Hashmona”, 15 km from Jerusalem, he played the piano version of Haydn 's Oratorio “The seven last words of our Redeemer on the cross”. On 10th October 2004 at the “Yad Lebanim” Hall of “Victims of Terrorism Center” in Afula (Israel) he played the Respighi 's Piano Suite, by the composer, of “Antiche danze ed arie per liuto”.
On 2nd December 2006 he played at the Porcelain Museum in Gustavsberg(Stockholm) a programme dedicated to Scandinavia performing Jacopo Foroni, Riccardo Zandonai, Sibelius and Grieg, with the participation of the soprano Anette Vogel. On 4th December 2006 he played Jacopo Foroni 's music, still with Anette Vogel, at the Library Hall of the Royal Castle in Centre Stockholm.
On 31st January he performed at the Music Academy in Ancona Haydn 's “The seven last words of our Redeemer on the cross” together with the showing of pictures of the sculpture work entitled “The Fountain of Tears” created by the Israeli-Canadian artist Rick Wienecke.
On 10th May 2007 at the Auditorium of Scuderie Aldobrandini in Frascati (Rome), he took part in the play “Budapest night speaks” supervised by the director Lauro Versari, performing Hungarian music by Liszt, Brahms, Berlioz, Kodaly, Bartok, Ligeti, together with the actress Sonia de Meo and the actor Nino D'Agata reading a choice of Hungarian poems.
On 19th May 2007 he held a concert at Palazzo Albicini (Forlì) playing music by Respighi, Debussy, De Falla, Vaughan Williams, Grieg, Brahms, Chopin, Ligeti, Bartok .
On 9th September 2007 he held a concert as a pianist at the Auditorium of the Conservatoire of Riva del Garda (TN) entitled “Shemà Israel” (Hear, O Israel), performing three biblical sonatas by Johann Kuhnau and excerpts from the Oratorio “Elias” by Mendelssohn, performed as a concert transcription for piano solo, as well.
On 14th March 2008 he held a concert for the Passion time at the Rotkreuz-Heim of Regensburg (Germany), performing Bach, Mendelssohn 's Christus and Haydn together with the dramatist Michael Herrschel reading from the Gospels.
On 11th May 2008 he held a pianistic concert for the 60th anniversary of Israel at the Jewish Synagogue of Bologna, with a programme made by Jewish and non-Jewish composers such as Ravel, Bloch, Bernstein, Milhaud, Prokofiev, Mendelssohn, Castelnuovo-Tedesco who, between 1800 and 1900, wrote music inspired by Hebraism. On 18th May 2008 he repeated this programme, adding a suite of 6 Israeli Dances by Haim Alexander, at Chiesa del Ravaldino of Forlì, on 22th June 2008 at the Music Academy in Ancona, and on 13th September 2008 at the Auditorium of the Conservatoire of Riva del Garda (TN).
With a selection of the programme, he played in Israel at the Baptist Village Hall near Petah Tikva on 25th July 2008 and at the Kibbutz Merchavia Hall on 26th July 2008.
On 15th October 2008 he performed the whole programme at "Christ Church" in Jerusalem (Old City), in conjunction with the exhibition of biblical sculptures by the Israeli-Canadian artist Rick Wienecke.
On 25th January 2009 he held a pianistic concert for the 'Holocaust Memorial Day' at the Jewish Synagogue of Bologna, with piano sonatas by Jewish composers dead in concentration camps such as Schulhoff, Klein and Ullmann, the commemorative piano sonata '27 April 1945' by the German composer K.A.Hartmann and 'Schindler's List' 's main theme by J. Williams.
On 27th February 2009 he held a special evening concert in Milan, presenting traditional Jewish songs and Israeli Messianic songs at pub 'Le Pecore'.
On 9th December 2009 he held a pianistic concert entitled "100 years of Tel Aviv" in London at Spiro Ark Centre, performing music written by Jewish and Israeli composers such as Mendelssohn, Milhaud, Bloch, Bernstein, Paul Ben-Haim, Haim Alexander, Joseph Tal and Viktor Ullmann as well as two encores, Naomi Shemer's song "haIr haLevanah" (the White Town) and 'Exodus' 's main theme by Ernest Gold.
On 27th January 2010 he held a pianistic concert for the ‘Holocaust Memorial Day' at the Auditorium of the Conservatoire of Riva del Garda (TN), performing works by Ravel, Klein, Ullmann, Hartmann, J. Williams and Jewish works written by Shostakovich.
On 5th September 2010 he held a pianistic concert for the 'European Day of Jewish Culture' at the Auditorium of the Conservatoire of Riva del Garda (TN), performing works by Mendelssohn, Chopin, Bernstein, Paul Ben-Haim, Jerry Bock and Ernest Gold, with readings from the book-testimony "The pianist" written in 1946 by the Polish-Jewish pianist and composer W. Szpilman.
On 20th February 2011 he held a "Yom haShoah" pianistic concert at the Regensburg Jewish Synagogue (Germany) on the occasion of the 70th year (1941-2011) since the massacre of 33.771 Jews shot at Babi Yar (Ukraine) in 1941, presenting music by Shostakovich together with readings taken from the Memoirs of Shostakovich (posth. 1979), 4 Yiddish poemes and the poem "Babi Yar" written by the renowned Russian writer E. Evtushenko in 1961, as well as one encore, Ravel's Kaddish.

COMPOSITION

He made his début as a composer on 17th January 2000 at Parma's Teatro Regio when the pianist Luca Tanzi, during the performing of the Mozart's Piano Concerto K. 503 with the Orchestra of the Conservatoire “A.Boito”, played his Cadenza for the 1st movement .
On 15th November 2001 he made his début in Taipei (capital of TAIWAN island) as a composer-collaborator for western music, during a puppet show “ Marco Polo ”, organized by Taiyuan Arts and Culture Foundation of Taipei, in which his musical pieces, composed during the year 2001, were performed.
In May 2002 he finished a 4 hands piano transcription of 3 excerpts from L.Bernstein's “West Side Story”, which had been requested by Duo Palmas of Cremona (Italy).
In June 2002 he composed 2 pieces for Piano Trio, which were performed on 29th September 2002 in Taipei, requested by “The TTT Puppet Center” of Taipei( www.taiyuan.org.tw ) for a play, including actors and puppets, called “ Autumn Rain ”, played from 18th till 21st of September 2003 at the Experimental Theatre of Taipei.
Since 2003 “Marco Polo” and his own music have been performed in Barcellona, Madrid (Circulo de Bellas Artes), Tegucigalpa (Honduras, Instituto Hondureno de Cultura Hispanica), London (Purcell Room) and Paris (Université Vincennes-Saint-Denis, Amphithéâtre X).

AWARDS AND MERITS

In 1998 he received the Biennial Music Award “Cesare Alfieri” (town of Parma) and in 2002 a Music Award from the Social Institute “Ancora” of Ravenna, during the 5 th Edition of the Review “Uno di noi”.

In 2003 he won, with the soprano Grazia Doronzio, the 3rd Prize in the range “Vocal Chamber Music” at the National Review in S. Pietro in Vincoli (Ravenna).

In 2006 he was finalist as orchestra conductor in the European Competition “Festival Mozart Giovani ” in Milan.

ISSUES

He has been publishing his own works with the publisher “L'Oca del Cairo” of Parma since 2001 ( www.ocadelcairo.it).

In 2012 he founded the "International Music Lessons".
